Wow! Did it just hit anyone else that we are jumping into October already! Sweater Weather is finally upon us. This year already seems to be flying by way too fast. Many fun events kept this month packed full of things to do and keep busy with. Speaking of keeping busy, fall sports are now in full swing, with games taking place either at our school or at rival schools each week. So when you get a chance, come watch a game and support our teams.
This year the Seniors were elated when they found out that they were going to go to Rosario Beach, instead of Ft. Flagler, to spend 2 nights with their class. It was originally thought that no overnight trips were going to take place this year because of covid restrictions, but our amazing class sponsors still found a way for us to be able to do a Senior Retreat. It was an amazing bonding experience for the whole class and I think I speak for all of us when I say it was a weekend that we all will remember.
Week of prayer was a good week to enjoy shorter classes and listen to great talks done by Pastor Eddy each afternoon. He addressed many insecurities that we as high school students criticize ourselves on daily. Pastor Eddy talked about how we are all worthy and accepted by God, and how no matter what we do he will always love us completely. His talks were just really uplifting and a positive highlight in our day.
The Students are looking forward to soaking up the most of Fall as we are already ⅓ done with the Semester. Stepping out of Summer and into Fall is always such an exciting Transition and that is definitely true this year at AAA. So get out there and enjoy the beautiful colors of Autumn.
